1986 BMW 535i – $1200!
The Good: Very nice low mile e28! The original Cardinal Red interior is in great condition. (One of the best I’ve seen in an e28). Dash has NO CRACKS whatsoever. Exterior has some fading, but not horrible. Little to no rust. The Bad: The motor has a bad cam. It was running when parked a few years ago. But with a bit of noise, due to one lobe being worn out. It has been sitting for 4-5 years. Will need a few things gone through, new tires, etc. We have inspected this car, and have put a detailed estimate together to get her back on the road. If you are looking for a turn-key 535i, this one would run you right around $4,500. This would entail a reconditioned head with a new OEM camshaft, new front suspension upgraded with e32 7-series parts, and all fluids flushed/change, amongst other things.
