Making Progress on the Swap
Welcome to another Friday edition of the blog! It’s another beautiful fall day here at Reggie’s Motorworks, and we look forward to another great night for the Cruise-In like last week!
And as promised, the “new” wagon made her appearance!
And now for an update on the 1986 BMW 325 project!
Reggie has been doing some of the interior work to bring the creature comforts of the 325es to the swap car, such as converting the original 325’s crank sunroof to a power one, like the 325es had.

Reggie also replaced the driver and passenger side visors. The brackets which hold them in position were perfectly fine condition and were reused.
The tan houndstooth comfort interior was removed, and will be replaced with the other car’s black interior. This interior is for sale! Please let us know if you are in need of a nice, tan interior for your bimmer.
The black carpet was thoroughly cleaned using our carpet extractor and allowed to air dry:
