We’re back with another Friday edition of the blog! We’ve got some cool stuff to talk about so let’s jump right in! James worked on this silbergrau metallic 2005 BMW 330i. She was in to check for vacuum leaks in the intake system, a new intake air boot, new oil filter housing gasket, new VANOS oil line, new thermostat and thermostat housing, new engine air filter, oil and filter change, and BG fuel system cleaning. We also cleaned the corroded thermostat mounting surface.
This 2012 BMW X5 M came in for some Active Autowerke performance tuning! You may have read about it earlier this week on our Facebook page! The final report: A gain of 86hp and 117ft/lbs torque! Amazing!
Next up is this supercharged 1995 BMW M3 Dinan. She was in for a power steering leak repair, a valve cover gasket leak repair, and new spark plugs. As part of routine mechanical checkup, she had a compression and leak down test, and came out with a clean bill of health! This bimmer spends a lot of time on the track! She’s got Porsche front brakes and M rear brakes.
New ball joints, new tie rod assemblies, an alignment, and diagnosis of a check engine light were on the list for this 2004 Mercedes ML350:
Diagnostics of transmission performance and other miscellaneous inspections were in order for this japan rot 2002 BMW 330Ci:
