Welcome back to another Friday edition of happenings around Reggie’s Motorworks! Last week we had a Cruise-In to catch up and to let people in on something new and exciting for Reggie’s Motorworks customers. Since forming Reggie’s Motorworks, we have been blessed with great customers who have been our main source of marketing. We have always been thankful for this, but have decided that it is now time to start compensating you for your efforts! We’re giving you $50 shop credit for every qualified referral….and your referral gets $50!! NO LIMIT! Swing by the shop for more details, and pick up some flyers and cards!
Late last week, this 5-series came in with a low tire, which John repaired in no time flat (no pun intended!):
This metal culprit was to blame:
Reggie installed an aftermarket exhaust – a Stromung e30 exhaust – in this coupe:
New Stromung exhaust on the left, old exhaust on the right:
New exhaust hangers and other odds and ends:
The new exhaust fits perfectly and it looks good too!
And just to make sure it sounded as good as it looks, Reggie used the shop’s GoPro Hero3 to prove it…check this out!
You may remember this 1999 BMW 328i from last week…she had a bit more work done this week, including a new clutch:
Old vs. New clutch plate:
Here’s a look at the pressure plate with visible hot spots:
A tear can be seen in the floorpan at the rear subframe mount:
Next we have a 1994 alpinweiss touring that came in with a bad fuel pump:
This pepper white 2004 Mini Cooper S also had a bad fuel pump:
An overheating issue brought this sharp alpinweiss 2001 BMW X5 to the shop:
I’m always on the lookout for cool and unique features of the rides that come into the shop…I spied this sticker a few days ago on the 2002 that was part of our big winter project :
That’s all for now! Have a wonderful weekend!
