A4 + e30 = X5

We’re back with the latest happenings at Reggie’s Motorworks!  I stopped by for a bit mid-week to get some photos.  Before we get to those, here’s a quick reminder about the Swap Meet coming up in just a few weeks!
Mark your calendars!  Reggie’s Motorworks, in partnership with Hoosier BMW, is hosting a Euro Swap Meet on Saturday, March 29th.  This will be our third swap meet, and it just keeps getting better!

This event will be from 10:00am-2:00pm, but sellers will be able to start setting up at 9:00am.  This will be an outside event unless the weather puts us inside. If we are inside, limited space will be available on a first come first served basis.

Items to sell:

– BMW, VW, Audi, Mini, Porsche, Mercedes, etc. parts and accessories
– Wheels
– Tools
– Manuals
– Automotive inspired art
– “Man Cave” items- Memorabilia
– Die-Cast cars
– Racing gear, helmets, roll bars, fire suppression, etc.

Even if you don’t have anything to sell, come on by! Bring some cash if you think you may want to take something home. Now for our regularly scheduled programming!

First, we have a 1999 Audi A4 Quattro came in with a bad battery and a failed ECU:

If you’ve been driving around much the past few weeks, you’ve no doubt encountered a few potholes here and there… or perhaps several potholes!  Unfortunately, this pretty imolarot 2006 M3 hit one and suffered a bent wheel:

Do you know someone looking for a decent e30 cabrio?  Perhaps one that can be built to suit?  Well, look no further!  This one will be for sale very soon!

This 1989 BMW 325i cabrio has an engine with a blown head gasket.  So she’s getting a new (used) engine swapped in, along with a new timing belt, new oil seals, new water pump, new thermostat, and new belts.  As far as the transmission, she’s an automatic.  We’ll be fixing up the interior, which includes a crack-free dash already!  Niiice!   If you would like more details, please give Nick a call in the office at 317.773.0074!

A failed water pump brought this e60, a 2008 BMW 535i, to the shop.  In addition to a new water pump, she got a new thermostat:

We’ll wrap things up with this 2004 X5 in kalahari beige.  On the list for this bimmer was a transmission fluid and filter change, as well as new fluids in both differentials and the transfer case.  She also had a brake light repaired.
