In the Mix: Mercedes, Audi, VW, BMW
Happy Friday! We’re back this week with a quick look at a mix of vehicles in the shop this week! It’s been a cold, icy, and snowy week here in Noblesville with temperatures rising to the 50s this weekend! That’s the crazy Midwestern weather we’re accustomed to here! Enough about the weather, let’s see some cars!
We’ll kick things off with this classic white 1984 Mercedes 280SL, which you may recall seeing on the blog before. She’s a Euro model that was not available here in the States. She’s having her cylinder head rebuilt as a result of failed valve guides. In addition to that, she’s getting new front brake hoses and a brake fluid flush, along with a power steering fluid change and new odometer gears. She’s got 59,000 miles on the clock.
Inspection for fluid leaks and diagnosis of runability issues brought this Samoa pearl 2004 VW Passat GLX into the shop:
The casablanca white 2000 Audi A6 Avant Quattro came in for diagnosis of a crank/no start condition:
A huge shout out to Brandon for keeping the shop sparkling and clean, even in through the tough winter season!
