Detailing Party, Open House, Car Show! Let’s Go!

Looking for something car-related to do this weekend?  Perfect!  We’ve got 3 days of car events to offer you!  Friday night is our Cruise-In and Pre-Open House detailing party!  We tried this for the first time last year, and loved it!  Bring your car, and we’ll provide water, soap, and hoses to get your car ready for Saturday.  Then join us on Saturday for the Open House from 11am-3pm here at the shop.  We’ll have food, music, prizes, and more!  Catch up with fellow enthusiasts and meet new ones!  Speaking of food, this year’s menu includes German sausages, imported pickles, and sauerkraut, just to name a few items…and of course, Sean’s famous stuffed jalapenos!  You won’t want to miss this event!  If you would like a good parking spot, please arrive early (10am-10:30am).  Then meet us in Forest Park on Sunday morning for the Father’s Day car show.  Click here for more details.
We’d also like to announce the arrival of our newest member of the Reggie’s Motorworks team, John!   He is a BMW specialist, wrenching on them since 1993.  We’re very excited and proud to have him on board!  If you’re here for the Open House, you’ll get the chance to meet him.  And you’ll start seeing him here on the blog as well.  Welcome, John!!!

Remember this 1987 Mercedes 560SL from a week or two ago?  Well, she was officially purchased and brought back for a post-purchase inspection.

She’s got a little, or should I say long, laundry list started of work that needs to be done.  For example, the brakes squeal.  She’s in need of a new rear wheel bearing and has rear shock issues.  The power antennae doesn’t work, and neither does the trunk light…nor do the hazard lights work.  But isn’t she lovely?  We’re excited to get this beauty back on the road to enjoy some summer weather!

This sweet alpinweiss 1990 M3 is a dedicated track car.  She came in for exhaust work.  We reinstalled the catalytic converter.  She got new custom straight pipes from the cat back, as well new chrome exhaust tips.  I would love to see this bimmer out on the track!

This cabrio is back for some more work, including replacement of dry rotted cooling and fuel hoses.  Next week she’ll get Bilstein sport shocks installed all around!  Nice!

Another great summer bimmer!  A new radiator, expansion tank, and cooling hoses will keep this 2000 BMW Z3 on the road despite hot summer temps this season!

One of my personal favorite bimmers that comes to the shop!  Such a nice ’87 535is!   She’s in for a new catalytic converter, clutch kit, and some rust repair work.

These images are from the main event in Old Winston Salem on Saturday. As you can see, the weather was absolutely perfect and the cars were all eye-catchers!
