Happy Friday! What a beautiful day! And what a perfect evening ahead for a Cruise-In! We hope you can join us this evening starting at 6pm here in Noblesville!
Just a few items of business before we take a look at some of the work done in the shop this week. Tomorrow is the Carmel Artomobilia in the Arts & Design District of downtown Carmel. Check out all the details here. It should be a great day to get outside and look at some amazing BMWs and other cars of all kinds! We hope you’ll find us in the Hoosier BMW area! Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 8th for the Hoosier Chapter’s New Member Picnic and Vintage Car Show! This event will take place at Eagle Creek Park at Lilly Lake Shelter. Bring your vintage (20 years or older – e30/e24 – if you’re lucky enough to own one! – e23/e28 or older and show it off! Don’t worry, you can still bring your new car, but we’ll just ask you to park “over there.” To participate in the car show, please email Reggie at reggie@reggiesmotorworks.com. The event starts at 11am, with lunch served between 11-12:30. Cost is $5 per vehicle “park entrance fee.” Reggie just picked up a few of the trophies to be given away at this event:
The e34 1995 BMW 525i had some prep work done this week before being painted over the weekend!
You may recall from last week that these two cars were both having engines replaced.
Here’s a closer look at what’s going on with the 740il:
John and Sam have been hard at work getting those engines replaced, as well as working on other projects in the shop. For example, this cool Mint Green 1973 BMW Bavaria came in because it would not start. She also had a cooling system leak and an oil leak that needed some diagnosis. We’re happy to say she’s running now!
(Note: She came to us without her bonnet.)
That’s all for now! We hope to see you tonight at the Cruise-In! And don’t forget about Carmel Artomobilia tomorrow! Have a wonderful weekend!
