It’s been another busy week here at the shop! And we’ve been gearing up for this weekend’s car events! Swing by the shop on Friday evening for our Cruise-In and detailing party! That’s right, a detailing party! We’ll have some great new car care products on hand to get your bimmer clean and pretty! What better way to prepare for our Open House on Saturday? Come for trivia, prizes, and general merriment with fellow BMW/auto enthusiasts! And we’ll have delicious food cooked up by our great friend, Sean. Remember his famous stuffed jalapenos? Oh yes! The Open House is just our way of saying thank you to all of our wonderful customers. We truly appreciate your business and support! Saturday evening we invite you to follow us to the cruise-in on the square in downtown Noblesville. Want more? Then join us Sunday morning for breakfast at Jim Dandy’s (2301 Conner Street, Noblesville, IN 46060; (317) 773-3288) before heading to the Forest Park car show.
This past weekend Reggie and I volunteered at Street Survival. I was already a fan of this program after hearing Reggie’s experience last year as a driving instructor. I helped out with the registration at the beginning of the day. Reggie rode with students and provided instructions for each of the activities. What a great way for teens to not only gain valuable experience, but also confidence behind the wheel when they encounter tough driving situations on the road!
This week, a 1992 BMW 325i cabrio got a new exhaust from the cat back, new exhaust mountings, and muffler rear. The owner loves the sound of his refreshed cabrio! We also repaired the leaky/non-functioning washer jets.
On the agenda for this 1986 BMW 325es: Replace the master cylinder, replace the rear subframe bushings, and replace all brake hoses with stainless braided hoses.
You may recall this 3-series from several weeks ago as she got ready for her first time at Putnam Park for the Hoosier BMW CCA’s Rites O’ Spring. We loved hearing that the owner was ecstatic about his bimmer’s performance on the track. Win!
A sweet little 1998 BMW Z3 Roadster came in for a coolant flush, brake fluid flush, new serpentine belt, and to check out a noise in the right rear of the car.
We also repaired the driver seat. Some of the bushings were worn out, which is a common problem. We repaired the seat with a kit (isolator pads) from Odometer Gears. Guess what…We’re a dealer for Odometer Gears. Another win! This roadster is such a pretty car! Wow!
We’re happy to report that John’s back from vacation. He’s already under way removing rust on this 1989 BMW 325ix. More on this project soon!
We’re getting the shop ready for the weekend! We hope to see you tonight at our cruise-in for the detailing party! And on Saturday for the Open House! (As well as the Noblesville Cruise-In, and breakfast and car show on Sunday!)
Have a great weekend! A big thank you to all of our customers – we are truly blessed to do what we do – working on cool cars that belong to cool people. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
