We’ve already flown through the first month of 2013! It’s February, which means we’re just that much closer to spring and warmer weather, right??? This week has been busy, so let’s get to some of the projects going on when Remington and I visited the shop!
Oh, and we’re going to have a Cruise-In tonight!!! Come out and join us – we’ll be indoors!
We are pleased to report that the 1993 BMW 525iT has found a new home! She was transported to New York earlier this week!
More progress is being made on our 2002 project! Remington and I officially met the owner of this bimmer – Hi Kevin!
The past few days, Reggie has been working on making the transmission and driveshaft fit this ’02 like a glove:
Here is the fuel line and driveshaft:
Reggie took some photos while he adjusted the rear transmission crossmember. He wanted to change the geometry of how the transmission fit…take a look! At the end of the slideshow, you’ll also see that Reggie used a laser to check the alignment of the differential.
Stay tuned for more on this cool ’02 project!
Check out this e90 rear shock with less than 110,000 miles! Reggie has seen original e30 shocks with over 200,000 miles that are still “decent”!
This 1996 BMW 328i came in for a new water pump and thermostat:
And this 1999 BMW 328i was overheating and had a coolant leak. Along with some other diagnostics, she also had an ABS indicator light and an inoperable emergency brake.
We also had a 7-series with a coolant leak – the upper radiator hose had split. (Not pictured.)
This 2004 BMW 530i in Olivin Metallic came in with a CCV valve (crank case vent) system failure. She also got her 100,000 mile maintenance check, as well as a brake fluid flush and differential fluid change.
That’s all for now! We hope to see you tonight at the Cruise-In!
Have a fantastic weekend!
