Welcome back to the blog!  We're gearing up for an event at our shop tomorrow, Saturday, May 7th!  Do you want to learn Car Maintenance 101?  Then this event is for you!  Please join us from 10am-2pm here at Reggie's Motorworks!  

Let's jump right in with a few cars!  First, this original owner topas Blau metallic 2001 BMW 525i came in for a new battery and a new license plate bulb. She also had a rattle in the front passenger side window that needed attention.  

A 95,000 mile service, new tie rod assemblies, an alignment, and wheel straightening service were on the list for this 2004 Audi TT Quattro. 

 

 

Do you keep up with Reggie's Motorworks on Facebook?  If so, you probably saw the story of this Mini Cooper S! The previous owner of this Chili Red 2006 Mini Cooper S, who was a client of ours, was kind enough to refer the new owner to us. The new owner is converting this once daily driver into a weekend event and interstate rally car for him and his son to enjoy together!

We're currently resolving some electrical issues for them, adding a couple of performance upgrades and doing one last good pre-trip inspection for them before they head out for several thousand miles as part of the MINI Takes the States 2016 cross country trip! How cool is that?!

Imagine cruising the open road in this hellrot Z3, a 1997 bimmer, with only 72,500 miles on the clock!  She was in for a bi-annual service, which includes an oil service and inspection.

Check out this e39 beauty!  She's a 2003 imolarot II, and she came in for her bi-annual service.  Along with diagnosing ABS and DSC warnings, she had issues with her right rear window working intermittently.  We also diagnosed a twist in the driver's seat.  

Running issues brought this 2007 BMW X5 into the shop. She received 2 new ignition coils.  

Road Force balance tire service and an alignment made this 2000 BMW 540i 6-speed a happy bimmer (pictured on the right below).  

A new fuel pump and a new fuel filter solved the crank no-start issues on this sienna rot II metallic 2000 BMW 323i: 

Next, this sparkling graphite metallic bimmer, a 2008 335xi, got new tires mounted, along with Road Force Balancing service, a new TPMS sensor, new rear drive shaft, and new engine and cabin air filters.  

Extensive diagnostics for crank no-starting issues were in order for this 2005 VW Jetta 2.5.  

Another X5, a 2009 in platin bronze metallic, came in for a new oil filter housing gasket, new front control arm bushings, and an alignment.

We'll wrap up this post with this Euro beauty!  This Polaris metallic 1985 M 635csi came in for a valve adjustment.  She has the M88 motor, versus the American S38 found in the M5 and M6. 

We're counting down the days until our 7th road trip to The Vintage, one of our favorite events that we look forward to each year!  This year it takes place the weekend before Memorial Day in Asheville, NC.  What a great way to celebrate Reggie's birthday weekend!  See images from our trip last year here!

Our founder, Reggie Stewart, taking part in a panel discussion at @noblesvilleschools about their internship program, which we have taken part in over the years. This panel was held as part of their Miller Ambassadors program, which Reggie is part of. To the left of Reggie is Alaina Shonkwiler (@alainafornoblesville), who is currently running for Indiana District 29 State Representative. Alaina was part of the team that placed interns for Noblesville Schools and has also been involved with businesses that have hosted interns. The rest of the panel was made up of @noblesvillehighschool students involved in the internship program. The internship program encompasses many industries and is supported by several local businesses.
