We’re excited and gearing up for our 7th Annual Open House tomorrow, June 14th! Come join us from 10am-2pm for a show ‘n shine, prizes, delicious food, and super cool people! Check out our Facebook events page for all of the details! And as tradition has it, we’ll be washing cars tonight for a little pre-Open House detailing at the Cruise-In to get them show ‘n shine ready! We usually kick things off starting at 6pm. We hope to see you here! And if you want a third day of all things car, consider coming out to the Central Indiana Vintage Vehicles Father’s Day Car Show at Forest Park.
Before we get to work, let’s take peek at some of the stuff we’ve got in store for the Open House!
Some epic new t-shirt designs…these are just a few of them!
Cast your votes for Best in Show and Best Project in Progress!
Every year, I always look forward to seeing the trophy designs. Reggie had a great time putting these together!
And now back to business!
A failed starter brought in this titansilber metallic 2007 BMW 530xi:
Valve cover gasket leaks brought this sweet 1995 BMW 540i into the shop. While Hoffman’s in the shop – yes, this bimmer’s name is Hoffman – his valve covers were powder coated black, just like the ones below, which happen to be for sale! Need some for your bimmer? Give Nick a call at 317.773.0074!
After removing all of the cosmoline, the engine bay has been prepped for paint, and the engine returned from the machine shop for the ’91 325i.
This e30 is undergoing a major mechanical overhaul. She’s a 1990 BMW 325i in sterling silver. A few things on the list includes a new timing belt, oil seals, water pump, thermostat, new belts, new air intake boots, valve adjustment, replacement of leaking fuel hoses, power steering leak repair, transmission fluid leak repair, new gumbo, new control arms and control arm bushings, new front brake hoses, etc. We love keeping e30s on the road!
Looking for an e30 of your own? We’ve got 2 great examples for sale! Come take a look at them during the Open House! Until then, learn more about the cabrio and coupe on our Cars For Sale page!
Late last week, you may have seen the paint work that Reggie did on the ’57 Chevy via Facebook or Instagram. We are stoked at the outcome! The patina of this relic is just plain awesome in our book! Here’s a look at the rusty pieces that were removed:
And their replacements:
That’s all for now! We hope to see you at tonight’s Detailing Party!
Have a great weekend! And wishing a Happy Father’s Day to all dad’s out there, near and far, and those we remember. And special Father’s Day wishes to Reggie, the best father I could ever ask for for our sweet little Remington, and to my Dad, who is one of our biggest fans and such a proud PaPa to Remington! Love you both!!!
