Midwest Heatwave Continues + 204 degree dash

We hope that everyone had a fun and safe 4th of July holiday!  It’s been another hot week here in Noblesville!  Reggie and I traveled to Florida over the past week, and it was actually a little cooler there (although not much!) than it was here!  Nick, John, and Sam have been keeping as cool as possible.  Due to the continued heat, we will not be hosting a Cruise-In tonight.  Hopefully next week will bring cooler temperatures!  Speaking of temperature, we used this nifty tool to see just how hot the dash was in the VW truck…204 degrees!

The guys have been busy this week, so let’s just highlight a few things that have gone on in the shop.

This track prepped e30 came in to diagnose electrical and performance gremlins:

Meanwhile, John worked on this 2002 BMW 330xi by replacing belts, charging the AC system, replacing differential fluid in both differentials as well as in the transfer case, and diagnosing some noise at the front and rear of the bimmer:

This 1996 BMW 328i had its HVAC panel replaced – the electrical board behind the HVAC panel, actually.  She was also in need of a new glove box button and spring.  And the keyless entry was repaired.  Check and mark!

A few other projects included replacing the auxilary fan in a 1989 BMW 325i, a valve adjustment and new belts for a 2004 BMW M3, and a pre-purchase inspection of a 2001 BMW M5.
