For the past couple of years, we’ve taken some BMWs to the Central Indiana Vintage Vehicle’s Father’s Day car show in Forest Park here in Noblesville. We plan to keep that tradition going this year! We start the day with an early breakfast before cruising into Forest Park for a great spot. If you’re interested in joining us, please let us know!
The guys have kept busy yet again this week. I stopped by the other day to capture a slice of the action.
A new guibo, new differential mount, new rear wheel bearings, and rebuilt transmission shifter bushings were on the list for this 1989 BMW 325i (pictured right):
This black sapphire 2002 BMW 330i came in with engine and transmission issues. She got a transmission fluid and filter change, along with a brake fluid flush:
The engine of this chili red 2002 Mini Cooper S had locked up and wouldn’t turn over. Two guide pins from the flywheel had fallen out and rattled around in the bell housing, causing pieces of aluminum to break off and lodge between the flywheel and starter. Ouch! She’s getting a new clutch kit and flywheel, along with a new drive shaft and oil pan gasket.
You can even see a crack on the exterior:
Are you or someone you know in need of parts for your e28? Perhaps this parts car can help you out!
