Happy Friday! What a beautiful fall day, more like summer! Blue skies, sunshine, and bimmers! Oh my! We’re excited to have such a great night for the Cruise-In! If you’re in the Indy/Westfield area, we hope you’ll stop by and see us at Park Street Pub!
As some of you know, we’ve had a ’91 Volvo 240SE as our “shop wagon” since last fall. We’ve had our eye out for a BMW wagon for some time, and this past weekend, thanks to a customer and friend of ours (Hi Kyle!) we found one in Chicago! And as luck would have it, the previous owner of our red Volvo wagon was interested in buying her back, so it worked out well for all parties involved.
Last week, Reggie had done some work to the Volvo, including buffing the paint and de-badging the back…it looked like a brand new car afterward! What a difference! Take a look:
This Volvo was a great car, and we’re glad that she’s going back to a good home, where she’ll be with our other old Volvo (which has since been restored!).
And now a drum roll please……introducing the 1993 BMW 525i! Here are some “before” photos of our newest bimmer, our 1993 BMW 525i wagon! If you’re coming to the Cruise-In this evening, you’ll get to see her! As I mentioned, these are just some quick “before” photos…as you can see she’s quite dusty!
There is very little work that needs to be done to this car, which is quite unusual for us! Luckily, the previous owner was a car enthusiast, and this one was garage-kept, and driven very little in the Windy City. He was happy that this wagon was going to a good home too.
I know today’s post is a short one, we’ll be back next week with the latest updates on the ’86 325 project and more!
If you’re looking for something to do over the weekend, check out the 2nd Annual GermanFest downtown Indianapolis! We’ve heard it’s a great event!
Have a wonderful weekend!
