Ready to Drive M5 + 2 e30’s On Location!

Welcome back to another Friday edition of the Reggie’s Motorworks blog!  Fall colors have been popping up all around us here in Noblesville, and this weekend we’re hoping to see even more during the 6th Annual Ohio River Tour with Hoosier BMW!  Reggie has been inspecting and gearing up the 1991 BMW M5 for the autumn drive.  She got new fluids and new belts, and is ready for some leisurely driving on the scenic route!  Reggie and I will both have our cameras rolling so stay tuned for stills and footage of the drive!

A new oil pan gasket and lower oil dipstick seal were on the list for this 1996 BMW 318ti:

Last week we introduced walnut blasting on intake valves.  And this week, we have a 2009 BMW 335d in for the same process as well as ultrasonic cleaning of the intake manifold.

A long list of work was performed on this sterling grau metallic 2002 BMW 530i!  In a (very big!) nutshell, she got a new crankshaft seal kit, new oil pan gasket, new oil filter and oil change, new water pump with metal impeller, new drive belts, new drive belt idler pulley, intake induction air/fuel cleaning service, new fan shroud and clamps, new automatic transmission filter, pan gasket and fluid, differential fluid service, brake fluid flush, new front control arms and bushings, new rear brake hoses, new rear sway bar links and tie rod assemblies, new front and rear vented and Z-coated brake rotors, pads, and brake pad wear sensors, and new wheels and tires!  She had some oil leaks to diagnose, along with an engine hesitation upon acceleration.  She’s good as new and back on the road!

At a previous Open House, one of our loyal enthusiast clients won a photo session for his cars!  After getting both of his beloved e30’s just the way he wanted them, we made this session happen!  He chose the grounds of his alma mater, Butler University, as a backdrop for his bimmers.  It was a lovely fall evening with great light for capturing these fine-tuned BMWs.  What an honor it has been to both work on and photograph these amazing cars, the 1992 BMW 325i cabrio and the 1991 BMW 325i coupe!  Enjoy a few of my favorites!
