Rites O’June + Our 8th Annual Open House!

What a week it has been!  We’ve had sunshine and summer time temperatures, and it’s not officially summer just yet!  We’re keeping our fingers crossed for sunshine this weekend for the Hoosier BMW Rites o’ June High Performance Driving School at Putnam Park Road Course!  Most of the RMW crew will be participating in the school, so come on out and say hi if you’re looking for a car event for the weekend!
Our 8th Annual Open House coming up in just one week on Saturday, June 20th!  If you haven’t RSVP’d yet, please check out our Facebook events page!  We’ll have a show ‘n shine, trophies, food, and prizes!   We look forward to this event each year, and this year is no exception.  It’s just one small way we can show our sincere appreciation for our customers and all who support us.

And now for some behind the scenes at the shop this week!  This titansilber metallic 2004 BMW 330i came in for an oil change and to diagnose some engine noise!

Don’t you just love this estoril blau metallic M3?  We sure do! She’s a 1997, and was just purchased by a new owner.  She’s in for a track inspection as well as new stainless steel brake lines.  If you’re out at Putnam Park this weekend, chances are you’ll see this blue beauty powering through the turns!

In addition to all  new locks, diagnosis of a non-functioning BC button, which allows the user to scroll through the display on the dash,  was in order for this orient blau metallic 2000 BMW 323i:

New valve cover gasket, new rear wheel bearings and axles, new oil filter housing gaskets, an oil change, and a degreasing of the engine bay were on the list for this zinnoberrot 1989 BWM 325i:

And last but certainly not least, we have a car that fits right into our special interest category!  This 1967 Austin-Healey 3000 came to us for a drain and fill of the cooling system, a new hood emblem, adjustment of the driving lights, and lubrication of the chassis.  What a treat she was to photograph!
