Speaking of Friday, it’s looks like it’s going to be a perfect night for a Cruise-In! Come join other fellow enthusiasts for car talk and more, starting at 6pm! #RMWcruisein
Let’s kick things off with this e30, a 1988 325. She came in with cruise-control issues, engine running issues, and for some other miscellaneous repairs.
This is the original water pump from a 2002 BMW 325i. It was replaced with a Stewart High Performance water pump (metal) with a lifetime warranty:
New front brakes, pads, rotors, and sensors were on the list for this 2004 BMW Z4 in toledoblau metallic. She also got an oil change while on the lift.
The 1600/2002, winner of the Best Project in Progress at our Open House, came in for a final shakedown and extensive road testing. When she left our shop a few months ago, she was “done”, except for installation of all her windows, so now she’s ready for final quality control testing.
This next 1 owner car was bought new in 1979, the Mercedes 300SD. She had a dead battery and got a new drive shaft flex disc, new exhaust hangers, a new thermostat, and a new A/C receiver drier.
A new timing belt, water pump, thermostat, and oil seals were just what the technician ordered for this 1985 Porsche 944 in sapphire blue:
And here’s the pretty engine that will soon make its home in the 1991 BMW 325i coupe! The engine bay in this glacier blue beauty is going to look SO good! Stay tuned!
Summer is just getting started, and what better excuse do you need to hit the open road? Maybe you or someone you know is looking for a vintage set of wheels…well, check out what we’ve got for sale on our Cars For Sale page!
Last weekend, Reggie participated in the Hoosier BMW and Bluegrass BMW driving school at Putnam Park Road Course. To say he had fun would be a grand understatement. It had been 9 long years since he had a car out on the track himself. Check out some videos from the weekend, appropriately named HooGrass. Subscribe to our youtube.com channel here and see all of our videos, including a few more from the weekend! And check out some fantastic photos of Reggie and Sean on our Facebook page as they roared around the track – photos taken by A Borrowed Image. Good, good stuff!
That’s all the time we have for now! Have a great weekend!
