Welcome to another edition of the Reggie’s Motorworks blog! What perfect summer weather we’re having…perfect for a #RMWcruisein! We invite you to join us this evening for a Cruise-In here at the shop! We kick things off starting at 6pm. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that this awesome weather sticks around for awhile!
Let’s take a look at some of the work going on in the shop this week!
John performed an oil change for this schwarz 2004 BMW X3. This was John’s last week with us before going back to college. John, thank you so much for all of your hard work this summer! From all of us here at Reggie’s Motorworks, we wish you a fantastic school year!
Next, we have a 2004 BMW Z4 in maldives blau that came in with an inoperable convertible top. This is the 3rd Z4 we’ve had in the shop this summer with the same convertible top issue and the same color combination! We also diagnosed a check engine light.
This e90, a 2010 BMW 335i in titansilber, came to us for an oil change and to diagnose issues with the TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system).
And this sharp Z4 3.5i, a 2009 bimmer in tiefseblau metallic, was in need of a new battery, an oil change, and a brake fluid flush. She’s only got 4900 miles on the clock!
A clutch job, a new rear main seal, and some preventative maintenance brought back one of our favorite e30’s – the 1986 BMW 325es!
A faulty ignition coil was replaced, along with spark plugs, in this horizon blue metallic 2010 Mini Cooper convertible.
This montego blau 2008 BMW X3 had a failed window regulator that needed to be replaced:
And I was elated to see this next e30 in the shop! A 1988 BMW 325ix! This zinnoberrot bimmer got a new clutch kit, a new rear main seal, a new rear drive shaft, and a new starter. She also had some leaking transmission seals replaced, and the shifter bushings rebuilt.
