She’s Alive!

What a beautiful Friday it is!  I know this post is coming to you a little later than usual, but better late than never, right?!  We’ll be here for the Cruise-In, so feel free to swing by with some chairs and your favorite snacks and beverages!
It has been one busy week here in the shop!

Sam worked on this 1991 BMW 318 cabrio that was purchased from Texas and brought to our shop to have the steering stiffened up.  Besides the steering, this bimmer got an oil change, a short shift kit, an aftermarket radio, an aftermarket competition MOMO steering wheel, new rear sub-frame bushings, M3 style control arm bushings, sway bar links, center support bearing, guibo, and a few other odds and ends.

This 1989 alpineweiss II 635csi came in with an idle issue that needed to be diagnosed.  While she was here, she got a transmission fluid and filter change, as well as a differential fluid change.  Such a cool car!

If you follow us on facebook, you may have heard the roar of the 1969 Camaro earlier this week!  Reggie has been working to get all the finishing details buttoned up to get this muscle car back on the road where she belongs! Below, Reggie is working on the wiring:

Just a short list of things to do before this red hot looker is complete!

After the wiring was done, the master cylinder was ready to get installed just in front of the brake booster:

Once everything was in place, the next step was to bleed the system (not shown).

Since we’re short on time this week, we’ll stop here.  Be sure to check the blog next week for final project updates, as well as more photos from our trip to North Carolina! And we’re excited about our annual Open House next Saturday, June 16th!   Come join us for food, prizes, music, cars and more!   Then join us the next day, Sunday, June 17th, for the vintage car show in Forest Park here in Noblesville on Father’s Day!

Have a great weekend!
