Success for #projectvarmit at IMS!

Happy Friday, friends!

Reggie and several members of the RMW crew were putting their bimmers through the paces on the Grand Prix course at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway over the weekend!  And a good time was had by all!  I took Remington and Emerson out on Sunday to see the action!  It was a beautiful day, preceded by some rainy weather, with blue skies and puffy white clouds.  All eyes were on the over 300 cars that crossed the yard of bricks lap after lap!  The e30 S52 #projectvarmit performed pretty darn well…and you can bet that she’ll be raring to go for another event like this soon, especially if it’s at IMS! Videos coming soon!

And now for some cars! Check out this pair!  The 2008 BMW M3 came in for diagnosis of a check engine light, bi-annual oil service, brake fluid service, replacement of spark plugs, new cabin air filters (4), replacement of tow hook cover, a new battery and registration of battery, and replacement of underbody trays.

And for the space grau metallic 2008 BMW M5, a bi-annual oil service, replacement of a jammed ash tray, replacement of a daytime running light, and replacement of both engine air filters got this sleek beauty back on the road!

A performance inspection was in order for this schwarz II 2010 BMW 128i cabrio.  The client’s daughter is headed off to college in sunny California.  This will be the perfect way to get around!

Diagnosis of power steering loss brought this 2004 Audi A8L Quattro into the shop.  Also on the list was an inoperable passenger seat adjuster, replacement of a power steering return hose, and a bi-annual oil service.

We replaced the throttle cable and fuel filter in this hellrot 1994 BMW 318i.  Her engine, transmission, and differential were degreased in order to clean and check for any oil leaks.

Next, this bronzit beige metallic 1988 BMW 325 came in for inspection of a clunk while turning.  She also got new odometer gears, a valve adjustment, and a new front lip.

Remember this Florida 1600 beauty? We removed her high performance sport exhaust and replaced it with a more conservative touring exhaust, certain to be enjoyable for casual cruises.

Broken window regulator clips brought this pearl beige metallic 2003 BMW X5 into the shop:
