Welcome back to the blog! It’s Friday, and we’re hoping the weather holds out for a Cruise-In tonight! Join us at the shop starting at 6pm! Invite a friend!
We hope you enjoyed a relaxing holiday weekend with family and friends! Reggie and I spent some time in Auburn for Auctions America’s fall sale and for the ACD (Auburn Cord Duesenberg) Festival, for which the small town is known so well. The weather was fantastic, and the cars were even better! We zipped around on a golf cart to see as much as we could see! And we watched some cars, including a few bimmers, roll through the auction. Although our 6-series had a lot of interest from potential buyers and some offers, we brought her back home. If you’ve never been to Auburn for Labor Day, you may want to consider adding it to your calendar next year! Enjoy some photos from our last day at the auction park!
We saw this 1988 M3, a Japanese-spec bimmer:
On Friday evening at the ACD cruise-in, we saw this mechanical elephant on display and later walking around! Find out more about Wendel, who was built in England in 1951.
And the gorgeous car that sold for over a million bucks at the auction!
