The Vintage 2013

It was another great trip to Winston Salem, NC for The Vintage!  This event marked the 10th anniversary for Scott and all of his hard work!  The very first Vintage was held at Westbend Vineyards, so it was only fitting to celebrate where it all began a decade ago.
Before we get to photos from our road trip, just a reminder that our annual Open House is coming up in just a few short weeks on Saturday, June 15th!  Hope to see you there!   We’re pumped!

I stopped by the shop mid-week to see what was new.  The guys kept busy while we were away, and honestly, I just had time for this one bimmer.  It’s a good one, promise!  Take a look at this sweet e30 M3, which came to us for some new odometer gears:

Rainy weather followed us into Ohio as we hit the road for North Carolina late last week with some fellow Hoosier BMW members.  We stopped overnight just outside of Knoxville, TN before getting up bright and early on Friday to meet up with a fellow enthusiast from Huntsville, AL.  Ben, our guide for this leg of the journey, planned a stop at The Wheels Through Time museum in Maggie Valley, NC.  It was pretty cool to see vintage cars, motorcycles, antiques, and more!  We got back on the road and made our way to Winston Salem!  We met up with the rest of the crew hanging out in the parking lot washing cars and catching up from the past year, as per usual on the Friday night before the event.  Saturday morning Reggie and I participated in Der Vintage Rallye, which we recorded on the GoPro!  Look for more on this soon!  The destination was Westbend Vineyards.  Sit back, relax, and enjoy photos from our day!  Did I mention that we had incredible weather?  It was perfect!  (Note to self for 2014:  Buy sunscreen, apply sunscreen. )

I met this cute little pup, Jetson!  He was relaxing in an M5!

We were 1 of 6 Baurs at the event!

The day flew by, and before we knew it, it was time to get excited for next year!  A group of us ate dinner that evening, following a mini photo shoot in Old Salem for a few bimmers that you may recognize!
