The Vintage 2014
Happy Friday! I can hardly believe it’s been a week since I blogged about our arrival at The Vintage! Time flies when you’re having fun…with cars…with friends…in an awesome location! Before we get to the details of our trip, just a few quick reminders!
The weather is fantastic here in Noblesville! We’ll be having a Friday night Cruise-In tonight! We hope you’ll join us!
Our 7th Annual Open House is coming up soon! We hope to see you on Saturday, June 14th from 10am-2-pm for food, beverages, door prizes, trophies, show ‘n shine, and great people! And now for a little recap of our 5th annual trip to The Vintage! Over 300 cars registered for Saturday’s event! Outstanding! Thank you to Scott Sturdy for putting together yet another awesome weekend! We’re already looking forward to The Vintage 2015!
We arrived in Winston Salem around 6pm on Thursday evening. We found a great steak restaurant within walking distance from our hotel. Several attendees had already arrived and enjoyed some camaraderie in the parking lot that evening. Friday morning we participated in Der Vintage Rallye, taking us to some beautiful state parks in the area. The roads were great for driving, and the 6-series seemed right at home! By Friday evening, the parking lot was near capacity with bimmers! As usual, we enjoyed washing and detailing the cars, some great Mexican food, and car talk. Saturday was the big day, and the weather was perfect! Sunshine, blue skies, and gorgeous cars! Enough of my rambling, let’s get to some photos! On Sunday we traveled along the Blue Ridge Parkway to Asheville and then to Gatlinburg with several of our fellow Hoosier BMW club members. It was a great trip!
