This Week On The Lift

Happy July! We hope you enjoyed a fun and relaxing 4th of July holiday weekend!  The shop was closed in observance of Independence Day on Monday and Tuesday.  The team has been hard at work during this short week to keep things moving for our clients!  Let's take a peek at some of the cars on the lifts!

In for diagnosis of an inoperable driver's seat adjustment switch is this 2005 Mercedes ML350:

Next, this e30, an alpinweiss II 1991 BMW 325i, came in for diagnostics on an oil pressure warning light and ABS warning light.  She received a new oil pressure sender as well as a valve adjustment.

You may remember this sweet e28 from previous posts (click here and here)!  The cirrus blau metallic 535i had brake reservoir grommets replaced, a brake fluid flush, replacement of all drive belts, conversion to a sanden style A/C compressor, and an alignment:

We welcomed this next bimmer all the way from Michigan!  She's a 1974 BMW 2002tii with an S14 swapped in from a 1988 M3!  She came in for an inspection, for repair of an exhaust rattle, to secure a loose starter wire, for new coolant, to replace dry rotted fuel hoses in the engine bay, for a new fuel filter, and for replacement of a timing chain tensionner crush seal.

On one of our central lifts, a 1982 BMW 320i in baltic blau metallic, in need of a new throttle body assembly, a bi-annual service, replacement of both transmission and differential fluids, repair of oil leaks at the front crank shaft seal and transmission output seal, repair of a brake fluid leak at the rear wheel cylinder, new front wheel bearings, new front control arms, new front struts and mounts, new rear struts and mounts, and an alignment.

A new valve cover gasket and an eccentric shaft sensor, check!  A new drive belt tensionner and idler pulley, check!  That's what was on the list for this titansilber 2011 BMW 328i:

This 2004 VW in harvest moon beige came in for replacement of a rear window regulator:

We'll wrap up this week's post with this stunning 1989 Mercedes 560SL!  She came in for inspection of a grinding noise at the brakes, which happened to be metal on metal noise.  She got new rear brake pads and rotors to resolve the issue.  Also on the list was diagnosis and repair of non-working A/C, which is no fun with this Midwestern heat wave we've been having lately!  We replaced inoperable windshield washers, performed a bi-annual service, as well as a brake fluid flush.  This charmer has only 44,000 miles on the odometer!

Thank you for joining us this week!  Have a fantastic weekend!
