It doesn’t seem possible that it’s time to be NC bound, but alas! We’re off on our 4th annual road trip to The Vintage! More on this in a moment. We’ve got a little of the usual business to take care of first! ***Please note that our office and shop will be closed on Monday, May 27th in observance of Memorial Day. ***
This week has been a busy one at the shop. I know I sound like a broken record, but it is true! We are blessed and thankful to keep working on the very vehicles we love so much! In fact, we’ve recently added two new team members here at Reggie’s Motorworks to help us keep up with demand! We are honored and excited to welcome Brandon, our newest full-time technician, trained by VW, with lots of experience with European cars in general as well as turbo tuning. We’ve also welcomed Ernesto, who serves a vital support role around the shop as he gains knowledge to work on cars. If you plan to attend our Open House on Saturday, June 15th, you’ll get the opportunity to meet them!
Here’s just a glimpse at what’s been going on this week.
Did you know that we offer both pre- and post-purchase inspections? If you’ve found a bimmer that you’re interested in, it is definitely worth it to have it inspected – ideally before purchasing it. Give us a call in the office to schedule your pre- or post-purchase inspection! 317.773.0074
This 1989 BMW 735i in delphin metallic came in for an inspection:
A/C repairs, an oil change, refinishing a wheel, custom floor mats are a few items on the list for this sharp 2000 Z3 in Stahlgrau Metallic:
Work continues on the e30 S52 from Wisconsin:
This alpinweiss III 2001 BMW X5 came in with an oil pressure warning light and a service engine soon light to be diagnosed. The suspension was also inspected as the right rear of the vehicle was sitting low.
Ernesto wrapped up the upholstery for the e30 coupe…and hopefully the coupe will make the trip to NC – so long as she gets back from paint! Fingers crossed!!!
The Baur is getting some attention as well before hitting the highway to Winston Salem! Reggie did some wiring clean-up for the radio and for the city lights.
New trim was installed to eliminate the side markers when she was federalized:
No doubt we’ll add another sticker or two:
Be sure to follow us on Facebook for updates from our trip! And you can be sure we’ll have a blog post all about it coming soon! You can also follow along on Instagram with @reggiesmotorworks and @stewartimagery!
And because it’s been a little while since he’s made an appearance on the blog, here’s our little Remington, now 8 months old! He’s babbling, army crawling, and loving having a dog and cat to squeal at!
Have a wonderful holiday weekend!
