It’s November already! This year is really flying by! Remington and I stopped by the shop yesterday. It was a very soggy day! If you look closely in some of the following photos, you’ll be able to see raindrops falling!
Join us on Sunday, November 10th at 1pm here at the shop as we host the Euros of Indiana Car Club Cruise-In! The Club will also be going on a scenic drive either before or after the Cruise-In. The event is free, however, Participants and guests are encouraged to bring canned goods that will be donated to Military Family Assistance for the holidays. Reggie’s Motorworks will match all canned good donations collected at the event. To RSVP and to get more info, check out their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/events/541232712624788/?ref_newsfeed_story_type=regular
Here at Reggie’s Motorworks, we thrive on keeping up to date on the latest BMW news. For example, BMW now recommends that turbo charged vehicles get new spark plugs every 40,000-45,000 miles. And we now stock diesel oil! It’s not technically genuine, however, it’s the exact same oil (and bottle) that you’d find on the shelf at the local BMW dealer. If you need oil for your diesel-powered ride, give Nick a call at 317.773.0074!
Let’s see a little bit of what the guys were working on this week!
This 1995 BMW 525iT in alpinweiss III came in for new transmission fluid as well as differential fluid:
Next, this sienna rot II metallic 1999 BMW 328i came in because she won’t stay running:
A coolant leak and headlights that fade in and out brought this titansilber ’99 e36 M3 to the shop:
On the list for this 1998 BMW 540i: replace oxygen sensors and change transmission fluid.
This platinbronze metallic 2007 BMW 3-series came in for a xenon headlight bulb replacement, new spark plugs, the BMW 30,000 mile check, and to have her wheels Road Force balanced: (Check out our previous posts (here and here) about Road Force balance and then give Nick a call to schedule your appointment!)
Need tires? Maybe a place to store your off-season wheels? Give us a call for more details!
And next we have this sweet little arktissilber 1999 Z3 M Coupe. She’s in for a check engine light, a faulty turn signal, oil leaks, a rear wiper motor, a new engine air filter, and a new in-dash clock on special order from Germany!
This 1992 BMW 325i cabrio came in for a new guibo and new control arms and control arm bushings. The guibo had pieces of rubber missing and the threaded core was unraveling – picture to follow next week! While in the shop, we also found that she had a bad blower motor, ignition switch, and door lock actuator. We also diagnosed a major electrical draw on the battery. (Check out some of her history here and here.)
The ol’ Sun diagnostic machine has been brought back to life! She looks amazing, thanks to all of Ernesto’s hard work in painting and restoring her!
With the full day of rain, Trick-or-Treat here in Noblesville has been moved to tonight. We’re looking forward to handing out candy to all the little Trick-or-Treaters this evening. I can’t wait to see what Remington thinks of all the costumes! He’s dressing up as a little baseball player!
Have a fantastic weekend!
