Euros of Indiana Car Club Cruise-In + Spark Plugs, Oil…Slippery When Wet

It’s November already!  This year is really flying by!  Remington and I stopped by the shop yesterday.  It was a very soggy day!  If you look closely in some of the following photos, you’ll be able to see raindrops falling!

Join us on Sunday, November 10th at 1pm here at the shop as we host the Euros of Indiana Car Club Cruise-In!  The Club will also be going on a scenic drive either before or after the Cruise-In.  The event is free, however, Participants and guests are encouraged to bring canned goods that will be donated to Military Family Assistance for the holidays.  Reggie’s Motorworks will match all canned good donations collected at the event.  To RSVP and to get more info, check out their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/events/541232712624788/?ref_newsfeed_story_type=regular

Here at Reggie’s Motorworks, we thrive on keeping up to date on the latest BMW news.  For example, BMW now recommends that turbo charged vehicles get new spark plugs every 40,000-45,000 miles.  And we now stock diesel oil!  It’s not technically genuine, however, it’s the exact same oil (and bottle) that you’d find on the shelf at the local BMW dealer.  If you need oil for your diesel-powered ride, give Nick a call at 317.773.0074!

This 1992 BMW 325i cabrio came in for a new guibo and new control arms and control arm bushings.  The guibo had pieces of rubber missing and the threaded core was unraveling – picture to follow next week!  While in the shop, we also found that she had a bad blower motor, ignition switch, and door lock actuator.  We also diagnosed a major electrical draw on the battery.   (Check out some of her history here and here.)

With the full day of rain, Trick-or-Treat here in Noblesville has been moved to tonight.  We’re looking forward to handing out candy to all the little Trick-or-Treaters this evening.  I can’t wait to see what Remington thinks of all the costumes!  He’s dressing up as a little baseball player!

Have a fantastic weekend!
